I’m absolutely delighted to welcome you to our Pilates and Yoga family! It’s fantastic that you’ve decided to join us on this journey towards better health, strength, and inner balance. Before we begin I want to share some important details to ensure a smooth start to your journey.

Pilates, Yoga & More

Pilates and Yoga are holistic approaches to fitness, emphasising flexibility, and mindful movement. As part of our community, you have the opportunity to explore:

Pilates – with its focus on core strength and correct postural alignment.
Yoga – with its many benefits including increased flexibility, stress relief and better sleep.
Yogalates – a unique blend of Yoga and Pilates that enriches your practice with strength and serenity.

We also offer individual classes for tailored, personal guidance, and look forward to special retreat days that promise deeper exploration and relaxation.

Class Details


6-Week Terms
Our group classes run in 6-week cycles, with a full term fee of £54.

As a Pilates and Yoga teacher, I’ve found that a commitment to 6-week terms rather than drop-in sessions significantly enhances the learning and growth experience for my students. Here’s why this approach resonates with my teaching philosophy and supports your journey in developing your practice:

Progressive Learning:
I love seeing your progress and you will too! A 6-week term commitment allows for a structured and progressive approach to learning. This format ensures that each class builds on the previous one, allowing students to deepen their understanding, refine their techniques, and see tangible progress in their bodies. It’s this continuity and cumulative learning that offer a deeper, more meaningful way to practice.

Flexibility Within Commitment:
I understand that life can be unpredictable, and flexibility is essential. That’s why I offer the option to replace any missed class during the term with another session in any of my classes. I believe that this approach of commitment to a structured term, coupled with the flexibility to make up missed sessions will work well for you.


Equipment
Please bring your own mat – I recommend that you get a thicker mat to protect your knees and hips during floor work but make sure this is also non-slip. I have a few mats spare for those who are new and unsure what to get. Sometimes we work with equipment in our classes and I will provide that – balls, bands, mini-bands.
